advantage in registering country level
domain names like .co.in etc.? |

- Country level domains are registered by NIC of that
particular country. Most of these countries have through
checking policy in registering commercial names. i.e. only
authorised persons of a company can register these domains.
This provides security against somebody hi-jacking your
domain.
- This also serves as a genuinety of existence of company.
For example, anyone can register XYZ.com if it is available
for registration. But this is not possible in a country
level domain.
