While rolling out next generation products regularly, the company had a problem to keep these roll outs up to date with its distributors as well as customers. The aim is to first build an active online community and to keep up to date with the community. This involves two core areas 1. Distributor \/ Dealers 2. End Users \/ Customers<\/p>\n<p>A solution has to be devised and implemented for seamlessly integrating all alerts, promotions, activities online and converge them to one location. The catch is, this has to be done stage by stage and at the lowest possible cost as rich media initiatives are new to the orgranisation. The benefits of engaging online is not measured or known previously. Solution \u2013 To deploy a seamless solution for alerts, promotions, activities<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cloud Servers were chosen instead of a dedicated environment for two reasons.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1. It uses pay per usage billing model and it is flexible. At any point in time, the initiative will not have huge cost for the organisation.<\/p>\n<p>2. Cloud Servers can be scaled up or down at any point of time.
