How do I allocate Dedicated IP for my client in Direct Admin?

Silicon House is a complete solution provider for reseller hosting, dedicated servers and cloud servers. In shared hosting itself we are providing privilege to allocate dedicated IP for users. Dedicated IP helps provide more stability. The problem with shared IP lies in their very concept – sharing a single IP address on the web for different websites has its own set of stability and security issues.

Before allocating IP make sure that admin have assined that IP to you completely. If so you will be have previledge to allocated main shared IP also to your user as well as dedicated IP also to your users.You can use the below steps to assin IP for particular user.

1.Login to Direct Admin control panel
2.Click on IP management option and check allocate IP
3.To assin dedicated IP to any of your client choose your dedicated IP and set your IP as “shared status” from “free status”

4.Now click on list user and login to that user
5.Click on modify user and change IP from shared to dedicated
6.Click on Save
