# How to setup a site redirection in cPanel / WHM?

## **Prerequisites**

1. You will require Login details of a cPanel/WHM Control Panel for the Domain name.

## **Important Notes**

1. Make sure the domain name should be unique.
2. Your Username and Password should be Valid.
3. Make sure the username doesn’t contain special characters.

## **Procedure**

1. Login to cPanel / WHM Control Panel.
2. Go to Domains section, and click on "Redirects".

3.In this Add Redirect section, Fill the required details:
    ** Type:** Select type of Redirection Permanent or Temporary.
    ** Domain Selection:** Choose the domain you wish to redirect, in the format https://(www.)?(domain).
     **URL Specification:**Enter the URL link (e.g., [https://www.example.com](https://www.example.com/)).
     **Redirects to:**Now enter destination URL / Domain.
    ** www.Redirection:**Choose the redirection as your wish.
     **Wild Card Redirect:**  Enable it to forward all URLs from the domain to the new destination.

4. Click the "Add" button.
