Dedicated Server ?
Semi Dedicated Servers
are a part of a high
end, high availability
dedicated servers.
Usually the server
configurations are
minimum 12 GB RAM, Dual
QuadCore CPU, SCSI HDD
etc. Based on the
application that is
required to be hosted,
1/4 th or 1/8 th or 1/12
th of a dedicated server
is allotted for a Semi
Dedicated Server. Unlike
VPS where the maximum
availability of the
resource is limited to
allotted amount, Semi
Dedicated Servers allow
a user to use more
resource than allotted
when the resource is
