how to change Hostmaster E-mail address in cpanel server ?

Silicon House provides Web Host Manger panel at the cheap cost in the reseller webhosting. Using that you can create the unlimited cpanel accounts. If you check your DNS using tools you will see in the SOA record part there is a section that shows an email address which is set in your Basic WHM/cPanel Settings. If you wish to change this value you simply can change it from the Basic WHM/cPanel settings but it will not change this value for current DNS zones. In order to change it for current zones you need to change edit each zone using Edit DNS Zone Feature in WHM. Using the below procedure you can change the Hostmaster E-mail address for your domain.

1.Kindly login into the WHM

2.under DNS functions click Edit DNS Zone

3.Select the domain you want to edit > click on Edit

4.In the end of SOA field you can see the mail id or also called as Hostmaster E-mail address “xyz.test.com”>>Change the email id from this “xyz.test.com.” to “xyz.gmail.com.”

Important Note : make sure you need a . after .com!

5.Click Save.
