How to compress and extract the file in the user control panel?

Reseller Web Hosting Linux is provided with DirectAdmin control panel using which the user can compress and extract the file.

This article will show you how to compress and extract the file in Direct Admin control panel. Kindly follow the below procedure to compress/extract a file

1.Login to the user of the domain
2.Then select file manager under system info and files
3.Choose the file which is to be compressed and click add to clipboard
4.Then select compress files in the clipboard options near to view clipboard
5.After that specify the the path , file name and file type , then click compress.

 Extract the file:

1.Upload Your compressed file
2.Log in to Your DirectAdmin
3.Click “File Manager” icon on the top of the DirectAdmin Panel
4.Navigate to place, where compressed file was uploaded
5.Click “Extract” (next to Rename | Copy buttons)
6.Enter directory where it should be extracted (directory must exist) and click “Extract”
