How can I Set the nameserver IP’s as Resolving IP’s in Dedicated Server ?

Dedicated Server permits as to change the resloving IP’s. Usally it will have the google IP’s. For any testing (or) you need to restirct the outside domains access and to enable the nameserver catching need to set the nameserver IP’s as a resloving IPs.

Procedure

Setting Resolving IP’s In Dedicated Server

To Set the nameserver IP’s as Resolving IP’s in Dedicated Server via WHM, please follow the below procedure,

1. Login to the Dedicated Server WHM as root user.

2. Go to the path,

Home » Networking Setup » Resolver Configuration

3. Click on “proceed”

4. There you can able to see the below options,

Primary Resolver
Secondary Resolver
Tertiary Resolver (optional)

5. In Primary and Secondary Resolver put the nameserver IP’s of the server and click “Continue” .

6. After It is completed the nameserver IP’s has been set us a Resolving IP’s. This will be done to restict the access to the server from outside resources.
