How to Increase Upload limit of cPanel file manager ?

 

Linux Fully Managed Dedicated Server comes with full root access and standard cPanel/ WHM where you will get a control to make any changes at anytime. You will also get a SSH access to manage via SSH.

Using cPanel’s File Manger you can easily upload files into the server. File manager in a cPanel allows the users to perform various kind of operations like files uploading, deletion of files, files and folders creation etc., File manager provides user friendly access to the users, even the beginners also can easily do any kind of tasks.

Refer the below procedure to Increase File Manager Upload size by using WHM

Via WHM :

1. Login to the WHM as a root

2. Go to “Tweak Settings” under Server Configuration

3. Choose System option

4. Click on “Max HTTP submission size” and Give the values in MB (Ex:1024 MB). If you want to give Unlimited upload size you can click on “Unlimited”.

In Linux Dedicated Server there is no limitation to Upload files using File Manager. You will be able to upload a large file as long as you have enough Disk Space to utilize for your cPanel account.

You can refer the below procedure to Upload files in cPanel file manager

1. Login to the cPanel

2. Go to “File Manager” option under Files section

3. Choose Directory where you want to upload files and click on “Upload”

4. Click on “Select File” and choose the file which you want upload

5. And it will show as “complete”

6.  Also after clicking “Upload” option, you can see “Maximum file size allowed for upload”.

You can also use FTP to upload files into the server like Filezila etc.,
