How to rearrange a cPanel account in dedicated servers?

Rearrange a cPanel account is possible in linux dedicated as well as linux shared servers. Linux dedicated servers comes with full root access where the customization is possible as per the user’s requirement. Since the dedicated servers comes with full root access where you can create unlimited WHM accounts and unlimited cPanel accounts. Also user can allocate disk space and bandwidth usage for each and every domains as per their client requirement. Linux server allows the users to create package for each and every domain and manipulation of that package is easily achievable by using the various functionalities of WHM.

Linux servers having the option “Rearrange a cpanel account” which allows the linux users to change the particualr domain from one partition to another partition via WHM. Whenever if you are facing any disk space shortage issue in a particular partition you can use this option and you can move the particular domain alone to another partition. To move accounts between hard drives, each hard disk partition must have the value of /home that you set in WHM’s “Basic Manager Setup” Interface (Home >> Server Configuration >> Basic Manager Setup).

Kindly follow the below procedure to rearrange a cpanel account,

1.Login to your WHM as root

2.Click on account functions

3.Click on rearrange an account

4.Select the domain for which you need to change the partition and click on “Rearrange” button.

5.Now you will get a new window open and you will be prompted for the partition to which the cPanel account has to be moved. Select the exact partition like /home2 and click on “Move Account” and then wait until you get the successful message.
