How to change an account’s disk quota via WHM?
Linux Dedicated Server allows you to host multiple websites under your web hosting space. Linux Dedicated Server comes with full root access where you will be having control to make any changes at any time. For eCommerce and CMS sites this would be the best and cheapest one. You can do event streaming in Linux server. You can also host unlimited domains and provide reseller hosting to your clients and make more profit.
This interface will allows you to change an account’s disk quota which will specifies the maximum amount of disk space that an account can use on your server.
1. Login to the WHM by using
https://servername:2087http://servername:2086
2.There are two ways to get to the quota modification page for an account. Go to Account Information.
3. Pick out which row in the table represents the account whose quota you wish to change, then scroll right.
4. you’ll see these edit icons appear beneath a number of options. Click the one under Quota to edit this account’s disk quota.
5. Enter a new value, in megabytes. Or, use unlimited. We’ll change this quota from 8 GB to 2 GB.
6.Click Save.The new quota has been set.
7. For the second way to get to the quota page of an account, click Quota Modification under Account Functions.
8. Select from the list the domain name or user belonging to the account, then submit the page. You’ll be taken to the same page you saw earlier.
