How to access a Remote mysql in the Linux Dedicated Server?

First of all we must allow the ip in the firewall. To do this,

  1. Please login to your WHM as root
  2. Click on ConfigServer Security & Firewall under Plugins Category
  3. Supply the IP of your remote desktop [ You can get it by visiting www.getmyip.co.in in the browser of the desktop ] in the green textbox against “Quick Allow” button
  4. Click on Quick Allow button

Then login to the cpanel of the domain where the mysql database is created.

  1. Under Databases click on Remote Mysql
  2. Supply the ip address of your remote desktop which you have got above and click on Add Host button
