How to add MIME type in Direct Admin panel?

In direct admin we can add the MIME type which is called  a media type (also known as a Multipurpose Internet Mail Extensions or MIME type) is a standard that indicates the nature and format of a document, file, or assortment of bytes.

We can indicate the MIME like type/sub type format. Type indicated video or text and subtype indicates the the word that related to type and the subtype is what is the format of type eg. if type is text and subtype we indicate as plain text.

To add MIME type in Direct Admin Control Panel, you may follow the steps below:

1. Login to http://domain.com:2222 with your login details

2. Under ‘Advanced Features’, click on ‘MIME Types’

3. Key in MIME Types(e.g. video/flv) and Extension(e.g. .flv)

4. Click on ‘Add’
