How do I change main shared A IP address in Dedicated Server ?

In Dedicated Server you can easily changing your IP address to main shared A IP address.

With the help of WHM Panel, changing your IP address to main shared A IP address in dedicated Server is very easy.

Kindly follow the below procedure to change the main shared A IP address.

1. Login to the WHM as root
2. Home >> Server Configuration >> Basic WebHost Manager® Setup
3. Go to “Basic Config” option
4. You can see the option called “The IPv4 address (only one address) to use to set up shared IPv4 virtual hosts“

[ Note : We strongly recommend that you only specify an IPv4 address that you have associated with this server.
Example – 10.11.133.14]

5. You can Enter the IP address which you want to main shared A IP address.

6. Now click on Save Changes.

Now you can confirm by using below option.

Home >> Account Functions >> Change Site’s IP Address

X.X.X.X(main shared IP) (Shared by root and xyz.com.)

In this way you can confirm your new A IP Address.

Important Note : IP Address which you are changing is belong to the same server and which is already added in WHM.
