How to password protect a Directory in Direct Admin?

The reseller Hosting comes with the Direct admin control Panel. In this you can protect the Directory by setting the password.

Kindly follow the below Procedure to

1) Login to Direct Admin panel
2) Select your domain name
3) Then click on “Password Protected Directories”
3) Click “Find a Directory to Password Protect”
4) DirectAdmin will now display all the files under public_html folder of your domain name

As an example, let’s say you want to password protect the “ecommerce” folder. Click on “Protect” at the same row as the “ecommerce” folder

5) Finally, specify the username and password required to view the folder contents, then click save
