How to rename files or folders in Direct Admin control panel ?

  1. Login into the Direct Admin Panel.
    [ https://your-domain.com:2222 or https://IP-address:2222 or https://server-hostname:2222 ].
  2. Next navigate to the file manager under system info and files.
  3. Then right click on the file or folder which you want to rename it.
  4. Here you can see the “Rename” option >> Click it
  5. Enter the new name in the Name text box and complete the task by clicking the “RENAME” option.
