How to solve 503 Service unavailable error in Windows Reseller Hosting ?
Windows Reseller Hosting comes with Plesk Control Panel which allows you to manage your domains easily.
Sometimes your wesbites hosted in the Windows Reseller Account shows the error “503 Service Unavailable” . Basically this error will occur in two situations in most of the cases.
1.The domain might be suspeded in the Plesk control panel.
2.The application pool of the domain might be stopped.
If the domain is suspended , you have to check why the domain is suspended and can take steps to activate the domain to resolve the issue.
If application pool the domain is stopped , you can do the following things.
For every domain there is an application pool in the server. 503 error occurs when your application pool is stopped in the server. This happens if your site crashes the application pool 5 times with in 5 mins means, it will be stopped automatically in the server. That time,it will not restart automatically and we need to manually restart the IIS for your domain. This is because may be due to non ending loop in your coding or the no of visits to your website is high.
Please check the following things to start the application pool.
1.Login into your Plesk Control Panel.
2.Click on Subscriptions
3.Click on Subscription Name
4.Click on Websites and Domains
5.Click on “Dedicated IIS Application Pool”
6.Click on Start
