How to Upload files in Filezilla instead of cPanel?

This article helps the customer to upload the files in Filezilla. Via the control panel like cPanel , we are not uploading the files more than 500 MB, so  the file size is larger than 500 MB, it is easy to upload the file via FTP. This is commonly used by many clients, but the procedure helps the clients.

Please use the below procedure to upload files using Filezilla. Download ftp software Filezilla,

1. Download and Install Filezilla FTP Client
2. Click on File >> Site Manager
3. Click on New Site option
4. Supply the following details
   Host : ftp.domain name
   port : 21
   server type : FTPES – FTP over explicit TLS/ SSL
   {
   Note: If you are using latest version of filezilla,
   Protocol: FTP-File Transfer Protocol
   Encryption: Require explicit FTP over TLS.
   }
   Logon Type : Normal
   User : your ftp username
   password : your ftp password

Click on connect

[ If any prompt to accept the certificate appears, please accept it as the server uses open ssl ]

Now you should be able to view the local system in left side and server in the right side

You can now start uploading the contents in your public_html directory
