How do I Create and Delete Folders in Horde Webmail ?

Webmail applications enable you to check your e-mail accounts by using your web browser. You can compose and read e-mail messages, maintain an address book, and perform other common tasks. There are three webmail applications that you can choose from

• Horde
• Roundcube
• SquirrelMail

Accessing webmail is as easy as using your web browser to visit a URL, and then entering your account name and password:

Use your web browser to go to https://www.example.com:2096, where example.com is your domain name

Procedure to create a folder in Horde

1. Login to your Horde interface by using your login credentials
2. Go to Folder Actions link which is available in the left hand side
3. Click the drop down box and select the Create Mailbox option
4. Now a Create mailbox text box will appear , in that you have to enter the name of the folder which now you want to create
5. Click the ok button
6. You will then see your new folder listed along with your other folders.

Procedure to delete a folder in Horde

1. Login to your Horde interface by using your login credentials, If you are already logged in, click the Inbox link.
2. Right-click the folder you want to delete
3. Click Delete from the drop-down menu.
4. You will then see a message asking if you want to “Permanently delete the folder.” Check the box if you also want to delete the sub-folders. Then click the OK button.
