HOW TO ADD AN A ENTRY FOR YOUR HOSTNAME USING WHM?

When you complete the Initial Setup of WHM or change the hostname in WHM, you need to add an A entry for your hostname. If you haven't done that, or if your hostname has changed.

Procedure

1. Login to your WHM
2. Go to DNS Functions category
3. Click Add an A Entry for your Hostname
4. Confirm that the IP address is the correct one to use for the Hostname
5. Then, click Add Entry
   Note : If a DNS entry exists already, you will get a error message as sorry, a DNS entry for XXXX already exists
6. Now you will receive an OK message
