How do I create sub domain in Plesk Control Panel ?

Solution :

If you are unable to create subdomain for your domain the following may be the reason

[1] You have not allocated the subdomain resources in your service plan.

To resolve this issue you have to check and allocate the subdomain resources in your service plan

[1] Login to your plesk control panel.
[2] Click on service plan.
[3] Click on service plan name of that domain.
[4] Allocate the subdomain resources
[5] Click update and sync

Solution :

It is not possible to register subdomain.

You can able to register main domain which should be FQDN.

Solution :

You can able to create a mail id for your Main Subscription alone. You are unable to create a email id for your subdomain. If you want to create a mail id for your subdomain then

you have to create a subdomain as a seperate main domain. Then only you can able to create email id for your subdomain

[1] Access your control panel at https://www.yourdomain.com:8443 [ Example :https://www.servername:8443 ]
[2] Click on subscriptions.
[3] Click on Add New Subscriptions.
[4] Give your Domain name.
[5] Give FTP user name and password for this domain. [Make sure you are giving very tough password].
[6] Choose your Service plan.
[7] Do not check the “Proceed to customizing the subscription parameters after it is created” option, unless you understand what it does.
[8] Click on ok.

Solution :

If your are getting the error “Web page not available” for your subdomain the following may be the reasons

[1] You may have not pointed the A record properly

To resolve this issue you have to check and point proper A record which is provided by your Web Hosting Provider.
