Linux Dedicated Server cPanel can be accessable via WHM and also Using server URL and Server IP address. It allows to access the cPanel without any restriction.

Procedure

Accessing the cPanel of the domain from Dedicated Server

For access the cPanel of the domain in dedicated server, please follow the below procedure:

1. Enter the URL https://domainame:2083/ or https://servername:2083/ (or) https://servername/cpanel in your web browser.

2. Enter the user name and password of the domain which you got while creating/hosting the domain in the server.

3. Click “Login” button

4. You can also access the cPanel from the WHM using the below option,

Home » Account Information » List Accounts

5. Here you can able to see the domain name , click the cPanel logo infront of that domain name in order to access the cPanel of that domain.

NOTE:

If you want to access https://domainname:2083 to access the cPanel, make sure that the domain name servers are properly pointed to our server. The name server change will take 24 to 48 hours to reflect in ISPs. You can use the above URL after the nameserver reflection.

Getting login Invalid while login to the cPanel

Error :

Solution :

Verify the username password of the cPanel . Sometimes while copying the password , if null space copied then this kind of issue will happen.

If you want to reset the password then login to the WHM and go to the below path,

Home » Account Functions » Password Modification

Choose the domain name and generate the new password and click ” Change password “. The password will be changed . Use the new password to login to the cPanel

Getting Connection timeout while login to cPanel

Error :

Getting Connection time out due to network connectivity while login to cPanel with correct password

Solution :

This will happen due to local internet connection . Check whether the internet connection is working fine. Reset the modem and check it out.

Try in another network connection.

When Accessing the cPanel using correct password it is redirecting to cPanel login page

Error :

Getting cPanel login page while accessing cPanel with correct password

Solution :

Check whether the the domain has been suspended . If the domain is suspeded then you will get the login page since the password has been locked. Activate the domain.
