How to Configure Remote Service IPs in cpanel server?

Configure Remote Service IPs feature in the WHM allows you to specify the IP addresses of remote services that will process mail for one or more domains. This feature is commonly used to specify the address of a third-party spam filtering service. This function adds entries in / etc/ips.remotemail. This file is a separate list by the line of IP addresses of the remote mail server that the system considers local.

To add IP addresses from the remote mail server:

1.Click the Remote Mail Server IP tab.
2.Enter the IP addresses you want to add in the available text field, one per line.
3.Click Save button.

To remove IP addresses from remote mail servers:

1.Delete entries that you no longer want to use the text field.
2.Click Save button.

IP addresses of remote name servers

This function allows you to remotely specify the IP address server. You can use this feature to allow users to remotely create remote or addon domains by specifying the IP address name server that corresponds to the domain. This function adds entries /etc/ips.remotedns This file is a separate list by the distance line of the IP address server that the system considers local. This file is referenced each time a cPanel user tries to create a parking or addon domain. If you are using remote cluster name servers, you will still need to manually add the IP addresses.

To remotely add the IP address server name:

1.Click the Name Server IPs tab.
2.Enter the IP addresses you want to add in the available text field, one per line.
3.Click Save button.

To remotely remove the IP address server from the server:

1.Delete entries that you no longer want to use the text field.
2.Click on the save button.
