In Linux Web Hosting your website’s hosting control panel allows to change the cpanel or ftp password of a particular domain name.Please follow the below procedure as,

1. Access your control panel at http://www.yourdomain.com/cpanel [ Example : www.crmcell.com/cpanel] or https://yourservername:2083/

You must have port 2083 access enabled in your internet connection to access this control panel. Usually it is enabled, but if you are in a network and if your are not able to access this, please contact your network admin and enable this port.

2. Supply the user name & password.
3. Under preferences click on Change password.
4. Supply the old password and new New Password.
5. Click on change your password now.
6. Then you can use the new changed password for both cPanel and FTP.

How to Access FTP Via Browser

If you are in a shared hosting server,it is not possible to access the FTP via browser.

We have configured the server in a such a way that ftp is allowed to access via cPanel or third party software like filezilla.

You can use the filezilla software for upload and download the contents for your domain. You can follow the below updated procedure to use filezilla.

Filezilla Procedure:

Click on File >> Site Manager
Click on New Site option
Supply the following details
Host : ftp.yourdomain.com
port : 21
server type : FTPES – FTP over explicit TLS/ SSL
{
Note: If you are using latest version of fiezilla,
Protocol: FTP-File Transfer Protocol
Encryption: Require explicit FTP over TLS.}
Logon Type : Normal
User : your ftp user name
password : your ftp password

Click on connect

Now you should be able to view the local system in left side and server in the right side

You can now start uploading the contents in your public_html directory
