Please follow the below procedure to show the hidden files in your cPanel.

1. Login to the cPanel
2. Click on File manager option under “Files”
3. Click on Settings option at the top right corner of the interface
4. Small dialog box will be opened
5. Always open this directory in the future by default: “Choose Document Root for : Domain name”

If you do not receive dialog box of directory selection, previously you might have set an option of Skip this question, and always open this directory in the future when I choose to open “File Manager.” To receive directory selection popup again, scroll down to the bottom of the page on the cPanel and click on the link named Reset All Interface Settings.
