Reseller Hosting Customer Account Creation Procedure :

Windows Reseller Hosting comes with Plesk Control Panel. You will be able to create a customer account under your Windows Reseller Account. Please follow the below procedure to create the customer account in your plesk control panel.

Customers option : This is where you perform operations on user accounts. Customers are end users of hosting services; they cannot resell hosting services. You can accomplish the following tasks from this area of the Panel:

* Create, modify, suspend, activate, and remove user accounts
* View traffic usage reports

[1] Login into your plesk control panel
[2] Under the hosting services,click on Customers.
[3] Fill the Contact Information.
[4] To give the separate control panel,give the user name and password.

Note: Make sure that the password is very tough which consists of alphanumeric characters

[5] Give the website information as your domain name.
[6] Give the FTP user name and password.
[7] Choose the service plan.

Note: Subscription is similar to your domain templates,where you can set the predefined resources can be set.

[10] Dont enable Proceed to customizing the subscription parameters after the customer is created. Note that doing this will lock the subscription for syncing
[11] You can access the customer control panel using the following URL

Access your control panel at https://www.yourdomain.com:8443 [ Example :https://www.crmcell.com:8443 ]

The control panel url starts with https:// and not http.

How can I Change the login details of customer account?

Please note that you can able to change the login details of your customer account using the below procedure.

[1] Login into your Plesk Control Panel
[2] Click on Customers
[3] Click on the Customer Account for which you want to change the Login details
[4] Click on Change login info
[5] Change the contact details
[6] Click on Ok

I want to give separate customer control panel for the already hosted domain

Please note that you need to use the below procedure for creating the customer account for the domains which is already exist in the control panel.

1> Create the customer account.During the creating of this uncheck the subscription option.That is dont create the subscription option.Now you have created only the customer account with out any domain.
2> Go to the domain for which you want to give separate control panel.Click on change subscriber.Choose the new customer name that you have created above.Click on ok.

Now you can able to access the customer account separately for that domain.

Unable to login into Customer Plesk Control Panel using my Domain Name ?

Error :

Web page not available.

Solution :

If you are getting the error “Web page not available” while accessing the Plesk Control Panel using your domain name the following may be the reasons

[1] You may have not pointed the nameserver and the A record properly

To resolve this issue you have to check and point proper nameservers which is provided by your Web Hosting Provider.

I am getting error ” This domain name already exists ” while creating a subscription for my customer

Solution :

If you are getting the error “This domain name already exists” while creating a subscription for my customer the following may be the reason

[1] The reason is due to you are trying to host the domain which is already hosted in our server.

If you are unable to resolve this issue kindly raise a ticket from our support portal http://members.siliconhouse.net/

Unable to login into the Customer control panel getting error “Error: You have entered incorrect username or password.”

Solution :

If you are getting the error “You have entered incorrect username or password” while accessing the Plesk Control Panel the following may be the reasons

[1] You may be using the wrong username and password to access the control panel
[2] You may have entered the username and password with null space to access the control panel

To resolve this issue you have to enter the correct username and password without any null space in it.

Kindly follow the below procedure to reset the customer control panel password

[1] Login to your plesk control panel.
[2] Click on customers
[3] Click your customer name which you want to reset the password
[4] Click on change login info
[5] Change the password.
[6] Click on ok
