How to Clear the Mail Queue in Web Hosting Panel?

Mail Queue Manager is used to check the number of mails and clear mails which is is queue in WHM itself. If more number is mails is stacked in mail queue, then mail delivery delay will occurs and sometimes mails will be getting bounced. In this case we need to clear the mail queue frequently to avoid the the delay mails. You can also clear the mails using command in SSH. Kindly follow the below procedure to check and clear the Mail Queue in WHM :

1] Login to WHM as a root user by using the URL https://servername:2087 (or) https://serverip:2087

2] Click Mail Queue Manager under Email Section

3] Select Start date, end date, Start time, end time by using drop down box and click on “Run Report”

Now you can able to see the number of mails in queue for the particular selected time and date

4] You can also search the mail queue by using username of domain, Enter the Username in Search box and click on “Run Report”

Now you can able to number of mails in queue according to the particular username

5] You can check the message status as queued or Frozen. To see the full message , click the glass icon under Actions for the particular mail, then the full message will open in new window.

6] To clear the mail queue, choose the messages and click Delete Selected.

Now you have successfully cleared the mails which stacked in queue by using mail queue manager . Hope this will helpful for you.
