How to Add and Delete a DNS Record from Advanced Zone Editor in cPanel ?

It has been popular control panel used in Linux hosting. cPanel has been provided with lot of features to design your website.  In Linux Web-Hosting Panel, you can Add and Delete a DNS Record from Advanced Zone Editor.


Advanced Zone Editor is used to Add, Delete and modify DNS records for your website and also helps you to Add A records and CNAME records. Advanced Zone Editor can also add TXT records also.
Please follow the below procedure to add a record from Advanced Zone Editor
1.  Login to your cPanel of the domain
2. Click Advanced Zone Editor under Domains section.
3. Choose the type of record which you need to add.
4. Enter your domain name
5. Enter your TTL values
6. In Address text box, Enter the IP address of the corresponding domain name
7. Click Add Record to finish the process.
Please follow the below procedure to modify a record from Advanced Zone Editor
1.  Login to your cPanel of the domain
2. Click Advanced Zone Editor under Domains section.
3. Click on edit and apply the modification which you need
4. Click on save.
Please follow the below procedure to delete a record from Advanced Zone Editor
1.  Login to your cPanel of the domain
2. Click Advanced Zone Editor under Domains section.
3. Select the record which you need to delete
4. Click on Delete
While deleting any record, we advise you to check and make sure that you are deleting the right file. Or else it will be result in Downtime of your website.
