How to install Moodle application in cPanel?

Moodle is a free and open-source learning management system. This software is used for e-learning projects. It is used to create private websites with online courses for educators and trainers to achieve learning goals. Moodle is a great solution for educators and students to communicate and setup learning environments.

Kindly follow the below procedure to install Moodle software under your silicon house hosting panel,

[1] Login to your cPanel account

[2] Go to Software section

[3] Click on Softaculous Icon in the Software section

[4] Click on Moodle logo which you want to install

[5] Click Install

[6] Then software setup page will show

[7] In the software setup page, select the Moodle software version that you want to install

[8] Skip the ‘Choose Protocol’ field (if SSL is required, you can select)

[9]In ‘Choose Domain’ field, select from the drop down list the domain name that you want Moodle to be installed in

[10] Leave the “In Directory”, “Data Directory”, “Database Name” and “Cron Job” fields as it is

[11] Go to “Site Settings” Section, enter your preferred site name and site description in the fields provided

[12] Skip the “Database Settings” section

[13] In the “Admin Account” section, enter your admin username, admin password, first name, last name, and a valid email address in the fields provided

[14] In the “Choose Language” section, select your preferred language settings from the drop down list

[15] Click on “Install” button

[16] Once Softaculous is finished checking the submitted data, you will be redirected to a page that indicates that the installation was successful

[17] Click the “Return to Overview” link at the bottom of the page

You have now successfully installed Moodle using Softaculous!
