How to Manage Additional Users via cPanel User manager Option?
Silicon House provides Reseller hosting plan with free cPanel and WHM. You can notify the “User Manager” interface when you log in to your cPanel account. In this session we are going to see how to Manage additional users via cPanel User manager Option in Linux reseller hosting.
The User manager interface allows the user to manage different sub-accounts. These sub-accounts use a similar login and details for email, web Disk services, and FTP. Also, we can edit the accounts, change password of the account, and also we can delete the account from our cPanel hosting.
We can use User Manager to:
[1] Add a new user
[2] Edit and change password of an account
[3] Delete an account
To create an additional user account follow the below procedure;
[1] Login to your cPanel account
[2] Go to preferences
[3] Click on “User Manager” tool
[4] Click the Add user button to begin creating a new user account
* Full name: The name/surname or description of your new user
* Username : The actual username of the new account
* Domain: If you have multiple domains on your hosting account, you can specify which domain’s email/FTP/Webdisk this user has access to
* Contact e-mail address: The e-mail address of this user
[5] Click on Security Information
[6] Generate new password by using password generator option and confirm password
[7] Click on Services
In this we can enable the services for that user account. To enable the service click the switch to enable or disable the services.
To edit user account follow the below procedure;
[1] Go to the User Manager option
[2] click “Edit” Button or Change Password Link
This will take you to a new interface, where you can edit the information you need on the account.
To Delete an user account follow the below procedure;
[1] Click on the delete link under the domain of the selected account which we want to delete.
[2] Click “Confirm” to delete the account.
