How to Set Virtual Forwarders in cPanel Reseller Hosting?
Silicon House Hosting comes with free cPanel/WHM. In Reseller Hosting, we can able to create virtual email forwarders. By using this you can able to forward the mail Id’s which you want. In this session we are going to see how to set Virtual Forwarders in cPanel Reseller Hosting.
Uses:
Without creating the email id you can just create forwarders and forward it to another email id. For example if you just want to receive all the emails in the email id demo@domainname.com but there should not be any outgoing in the email id demo@domainname.com in this you can create virtual forwarders.
The following procedure gives the steps to create a Virtual forwarders in your Reseller Hosting panel.
[1] Login to your cPanel
[2] Click on Forwarders to access the Forwarding Maintenance menu.
[3] Click on Add Forwarder.
[4] Mention the email address demo@domainname.com in the first blank filed(i.e Here the email id demo@domainname.com which should not be created)
[5] Mention the valid email address you wish the email to be forwarded to in the second blank field.(ex.test@domainname.com
[6]Click on Add Forwarder to add the forwarder.
[2] Click on Forwarders to access the Forwarding Maintenance menu.
[3] Click on Add Forwarder.
[4] Mention the email address demo@domainname.com in the first blank filed(i.e Here the email id demo@domainname.com which should not be created)
[5] Mention the valid email address you wish the email to be forwarded to in the second blank field.(ex.test@domainname.com
[6]Click on Add Forwarder to add the forwarder.
By using this procedure whatever the mail send todemo@domainname.com will reach the email id test@domainname.com. The added advantage by using virtual forwarders is the sender will think that they are sending mail to demo@domainname.com but the actually the mail will be received by test@domainname.com.
