How to use Database Map Tool in WHM?

Silicon House servers comes with free cPanel and WHM. In this session we are going to see How to use Database Map Tool in WHM Reseller Hosting. In the WHM, you can able to manage a Database user access for the specific cPanel accounts. 

Uses:

* It gives you the privilege to assign ownership of databases and database users to specific cPanel accounts

* The cPanel user who owns a database can manage and access through the       cPanel interface

*  This feature only grants access to databases objects that are already in cPanel’s  database management system

Kindly follow the below procedure to grant the access to Database users.

[1] Log in to WHM of Silicon House panel
[2] Go to search option >>click “SQL Services” tab 
[3] Click on “Database Map Tool”
[4] Choose either the domain name or username of the cPanel user
[5] Then click the “Select” button
[6] In the Database users text box, enter a comma-separated list of databases that you wish for the cPanel user to own
[7] In the Database names text box, enter a comma-separated list of database users that you wish for the cPanel user to own
[8] Click on the “Submit” button
