How to Change Your Server’s hostname via WHM?

Hostname is a Fully Qualified Domain Name (FQDN), used to identify your server. In dedicated server you can your Server’s Hostname via WHM by using the below procedure.

  1. Log in to your WHM account
  2. Enter ‘root’ as the username and then the root password for your dedicated server, then click on ‘Log in’.
  3. Click on the option Change Hostname under the section Networking Setup.
  4. Under the section Change Hostname, enter the hostname desired in the New Hostname: field.
  5. Click the Change button

Now you successfully changed your server hostname!!!
